No umbrella needed for Rihanna at T

Rihanna delighted fans at T in the Park as she headlined the second night of the festival with a pulsating performance.

Thousands of music fans turned out to watch the R&B singer on the main stage as dusk fell, and they were not left disappointed.

Crew members could be seen preparing the stage 10 minutes after the time she was scheduled to start and six minutes later, a large video wall was lifted to reveal Rihanna wearing a short length, long-sleeved, tiger-print dress to a loud, cheering reception from the crowd.

Organisers produced a varied line-up for the Saturday night of the festival's 20th anniversary, which also included including Snoop Dogg, Paloma Faith, Ke$ha and Twin Atlantic.

Scottish band Frightened Rabbit played T in the Park for the third time in their career, lead singer Scott Hutchison saying: "As a Scottish band you just want to play T in the Park. It's a big benchmark.

"The fact that T in the Park provides both ends of the spectrum I think is fantastic.

"You've got Rihanna on the one end and then you've these new exciting Scottish bands on the other."
