Jepsen has fun with pitch fail

Carly Rae Jepsen had a good laugh at herself after her ceremonial first pitch proved a disaster at a baseball game.

The Call Me Maybe singer took to Twitter after revealing her lack of ball skills at the Tampa Bay Rays game at the weekend..

Carly tweeted: "So apparently I made ESPN with my fail of a pitch. Lol- Daddy must be so proud."

She also posted a text message conversation between her and her brother in which he told her to, "Stick to your day job".

Carly quipped: "Thanks dear brother of mine."

Her younger sister tweeted: "Look at the bright side you're the first one in the family to make it on @espn".

The right-handed singer's pitch barely cleared the mound. When she realised where the ball went, she covered her face, laughed, and raised her hands in mock pride.
