Haim: So many cat fights at work

Haim have said that working with your siblings can lead to some ugly disagreements.

The three sisters, whose band is named after their surname, joked that there were so many cat fights during the writing process, they were even thinking of paying tribute to the spats in their new album's title.

Asked whether they got on while writing together, Este joked: "Have you heard the term cat fight? So many cat fights... too many cat fights. That should be the name of the record: Too Many Cat Fights."

Alana said she was still pinching herself that their first album, Days Are Gone, had been such a success.

She said: "I still can't believe that Days Are Gone is out, it still hasn't hit me that our record is out. I'm still kind of getting over that. We have a lot of songs that we didn't use on Days Are Gone that we're going to re-record."

The sisters also said that they had some big names in mind for their dream collaborations.

Speaking at the NME Awards where Blondie won Godlike Genius, when asked who their dream collaboration would be, Danielle said: "Blondie. We love her, we grew up listening to Blondie and Debbie."

Este added: "Prince. I've heard Prince is running around London and the UK. I've tried really hard to kidnap him, slash keep my cool around him, and both things haven't worked, so we'll see what happens."
