Drake wins two Much Music Awards

Drake has taken home two gongs at the Much Music Video Awards 2014 in Canada.

Kendall and Kylie Jenner hosted the Canadian music channel's awards ceremony in Toronto, which saw performances from Ed Sheeran, Lorde, Kiesza and Arianna Grande.

Drake was awarded the title for best international video of the year by a Canadian for Hold On, We're Going Home and won hip-hop video of the year for Worst Behaviour.

The Canadian star was in the running for six awards at the ceremony held in his hometown - and was nominated twice for the video of the year category, for Worst Behaviour and Live For, his collaboration with The Weekend. But that particular award went to British Columbian band The Hedley who scooped three gongs all together.

Kylie Jenner drew attention on the red carpet for her risque dress which was slashed up to the waist on both sides to reveal she was wearing no underwear. Kendall poked fun at herself when she stumbled over her lines announcing the nominees for one award, but over all the sisters impressed with their hosting skills and multiple outfit changes.

Lorde received the international video of the year for an individual artist award for Royals, while Selena Gomez was voted favourite international artist of the year by the public, beating Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry.

Justin Bieber was also named favourite artist or group in the viewer-voted category.
