Thicke sells 530 copies of record

Robin Thicke's album - named after his estranged wife - has failed to make an impression in the UK.

The star has sold just 530 copies of Paula - his ode to his childhood sweetheart Paula Patton - in its first week, reported The Guardian.

The record, which has entered the charts at number 200, has performed far worse that Robin's hit Blurred Lines, which shifted more than 25,000 copies in its first seven days.

Robin and 2 Guns star Paula separated earlier this year after nine years of marriage, but the singer hasn't given up on their romance.

As well as naming his latest album Paula, the lead single Get Her Back is apparently about his mission to rekindle their relationship. He has also publicly declared his love for Paula on stage.

Robin, 37, recently told New York's Hot 97 radio station that his ex hasn't heard his album.

"She's only heard a few songs and I don't think she wants to hear it right now. I can't speak for her, but I think space is an important part of any healing process," he said.
