Blink-182 working on new album

Blink-182 have announced to their fans that they have reunited and will be releasing a new album after their shows in Europe.

The band released their last album in 2011, but have now posted photos on social media confirming that they are working together again, according to Us Weekly.

Tom DeLonge started the excitement by posting an Instagram throwback photo of himself and bandmates Travis Barker and Mark Hoppus as teenagers, captioned: "Rehearsals start today... And yes there will be a new album #SorryForTheWait #Blink."

Travis also posted a photo of himself at a drum set with the words: "#RehearsalLife #BLINK #EuropeanTour #NobodycaresGoharder."

Blink-182 are also set to play some shows in the UK in August, with dates lined up at O2's Brixton Academy and slots at the Reading and Leeds Festivals.

After forming in the early 90s in California, Blink-182 released six studio albums and have had hits with songs including All The Small Things and I Miss You.
