NewsOctober, 24 Booze and meditation for Prof GreenProfessor Green has revealed he relies on "whisky and meditation" to get him ready for live performances, as he prepares to perform at the Westfield Music Cube. The 30-year-old Hackney rapper, whose real name is Stephen Manderson, admitted he gets himself into the zone by meditating and having the odd drink before taking to the stage in a glass cube at Westfield Stratford City. He will perform his latest track Lullaby as he closes the event on November 2, joined by Bristol-based singer Ava Lily. "I'm looking forward to getting inside Music Cube and performing at Westfield for the first time. It's a privilege to be closing Music Cube - and in the East End," he said. Professor, who performed Lullaby at the Mobo Awards alongside American singer Tori Kelly, also hinted he would like to collaborate with Unkle. "I really don't have a list (of collaborations) - it's never that contrived," he said. "I keep bumping into James Lavelle. So an Unkle and Professor Green track might be quite cool?" he teased. Other performers for the Music Cube include Neon Jungle and MNEK with other acts to be announced. The free interactive music event will take place at Music Cube Westfield London on October 25 and 26, before moving to the Stratford City branch from October 31 to November 2. Tickets for the Music Cube are available now from uk.westfield.com/uk/.
