NewsJune, 24 Bestival 2015 line-up: Missy Elliott revealed as final headliner - get ready to 'Work It'Bestival-goers, get ready to "Get Ur Freak On", "Work It" and "Lose Control" as Missy Elliott has been announced as your final headliner. The US rapper will be heading to Robin Hill Country Park on the Isle Of Wight to perform on Sunday 13 September and close the festival in true Nineties nostalgia style. It will be her first UK gig for nine years, so this is a hot ticket. Rob Da Bank announced that Elliott would be joining Underworld, The Chemical Brothers and Duran Duran as a bill-topper last night. "Needing no introduction Missy is the epitome of hip-hop royalty, the first lady of party-starting club bangers and a downright legend," the DJ and curator said. Elliott revealed how "very excited" she is to be booked for Bestival. "I can't wait to see all my fans I haven't seen in some time...new ones and my day one fans! We are gonna have a blast together! Bring your dancing outfits and kicks!" Music festivals 2015 guide!" The 43-year-old's last album The Cookbook came out in 2005 but she has been busy working on her seventh with producer Timbaland. Elliott teamed up with Katy Perry to steal the Super Bowl halftime show in February - the video is below if you still need convincing that she's headliner material. Bestival's theme this year is "Summer of Love" so start preparing your hippy outfits now. Acts confirmed so far include Mark Ronson, Future Islands, FKA twigs, Tame Impala, Ella Eyre, Skrillex and Gorgon City, with Muse also expected to make an appearance after Matt Bellamy accidentally let slip that his band would be there.
