NewsApril, 5 Coronavirus: Bruce Springsteen radio station playing nothing but his music 24/7 goes free to help lockdown bluesA radio station playing nothing but Bruce Springsteen music has become available for free in the wake of the coronavirus lockdown. Sirius XM Radio announced that the channel, named E Street Radio, was going free until 15 May. The station plays songs written by Springsteen, including covers, as well as live versions and rare tracks all day, every day. In Europe, it can only be listened to for free on a laptop or computer – find the radio station here. It was originally launched in 2005 for three months, but was revived the following year and has remained available to stream ever since. Springsteen himself phoned in to talk about the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund, which has been set as coronavirus continues to spread globally. He also updated listeners on the health of his friends Tom Hanks and Jackson Browne, who both tested positive for the illness last month.
