NewsJune, 1 BGT hosts Ant and Dec in tears after kids' emotional semi-final performanceBritain's Got Talent hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly were in tears during the second live semi-final on Tuesday evening. The Geordie duo were hosting the latest round of performances at London's Hammersmith Apollo, and one particular act had them reaching for the tissues. The Voices of the Armed Forces Children Choir took to the stage once again to sing for judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams - and there wasn't a dry eye in the house. As Ant and Dec approached the children after their performance, Ant said: "They're crying, we're crying, half of the audience is crying!" And it seems viewers tuning in at home were also feeling emotional and took to Twitter to comment. One person wrote: "@antanddec oh lord those kids I’m in floods. What a great song voices of armed forces childrens choir #BGT." Another said: "The children from the Armed Force Choir has got me going… Where’s the tissues? #bgt." A third person tweeted: "Armed Forces Children's Choir performance was so wonderful and beautifully done with so much emotion! #BGT #BritainsGotTalent." Someone else added: "Yea so the kids choir singing Stand Up on #bgt just made me emosh!" The Britain's Got Talent semi-finals continue this week at 8pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
