Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner to 'settle divorce in private'

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are reportedly going to settle their divorce in private mediation after successfully reaching a custody agreement.

The two stars share daughters Willa, three, and 15-month-old Delphine, and while it seemed like they would be thrashing out their split in a court case, according to Page Six, 34-year-old Joe has now filed to dismiss his petition for dissolution in Miami.

In court documents seen by the site, Joe and Sophie, 27, have reached “various agreements” and plan to “pursue an amicable resolution of all issues”.

The news comes hot on the heels of the temporary joint custody agreement announced this week.

After four days of mediation, the Jonas Brothers singer and Game of Thrones actress have agreed to share custody of their children, two weeks at a time. This will go on until January.

The girls can travel anywhere in the U.K. and the U.S., and will be spending Christmas in Sophie’s native England while also going on tour with their popstar dad.

“After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend time equally in loving homes in both the U.S. and the U.K.,” they said in a statement to Page Six.

“We look forward to being great co-parents.”

Joe and Sophie tied the knot in 2019 but surprised fans in September with their sudden split.
