Shania Twain confronts Harry Styles Glastonbury duet speculation

Shania Twain has addressed speculation that Harry Styles will join her on stage for a duet at Glastonbury this weekend.

The 58-year-old Canadian music icon will headline the music festival on Sunday when she takes to the Pyramid Stage to fill the Legend's slot.

In 2022, the That Don't Impress Me Much singer surprised music fans when she joined former One Direction star Harry for his headline slot at the Coachella festival in California.

Some fans are now convinced he will return the favour to help Shania sing one of her songs at the British festival this weekend.

Confronting the rumours, Shania told The Sun, "I was Harry's guest at Coachella so if he attends Glastonbury, then I will make him come up with me. If he attends, that is."

She added, "If he's not here, it's really hard to get in there to just show up so I'm not going to hold it against him."

She went on to tease fans about details of her stage costume, saying, "My leopard-print look from That Don't Impress Me Much would be a good one to dig out for the set but I think it may be too hot for it. Actually, it's velvet too so the mud could ruin it. So on second thoughts, maybe not."

The five-time Grammy Award-winning star went on to explain how honoured she feels to be following in the footsteps of Diana Ross, Kylie Minogue, Tom Jones and Dolly Parton to play the Legends slot at Glastonbury.

She gushed, "Maybe I should be singing now, Man I Feel Like a Legend. Even though I know it's happening, it feels surreal, especially as so many of my heroes have played the slot."
