Coi Leray has kicked off the New Year by announcing her pregnancy. The Players hitmaker is expecting her first child with rapper Trippie Redd. She shared with her 7.6 million Instagram followers, "I'm a rock star mommy. We ready for 2025." The note was accompanied by a carousel of images, including two loved-up snapshots with her boyfriend. Redd, real name Michael Lamar White IV, looked excited as he cosied up to his girlfriend and cradled her bump. Tiny-framed Leray also shared a picture of her bump via Instagram Stories, writing, "I'm over four months. I'm just small as hell of course." The duo rekindled their love affair in August 2024, having previously had a brief romance in 2019. When the two broke up that year, Redd let his feelings out in a song named Leray, with lyrics that include: "When you got with me, you were a genius/ Now without me you have to live life as an idiot." This will be the first child for both rappers. White previously announced that he had fathered a son in late 2023 but two paternity tests later, he learned the child was not his, according to a report by TMZ.
