Royals react to Taylor Swift engagement news

The Prince and Princess of Wales and the Duchess of Cambridge have all reacted to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's engagement news.

Swift and Kelce announced their engagement with a joint post on Instagram yesterday.

Dozens of celebrities 'liked' the news, including the Prince and Princess's joint social media page, as well as the Duchess from her personal Instagram handle, @meghan.

Prince William and Princess Kate are among the singing star's best-known followers.

In June last year, Prince William brought son Prince George and daughter Princess Charlotte to the superstar's Eras Tour show in London on his birthday, where William and Charlotte were spotted dancing in the stands to Swift's performance of Shake It Off.

The heir to the throne and his eldest two children also snapped a selfie with the singer and her Kansas City Chiefs star beau behind the scenes.

While the Prince of Wales left an impression, the Duchess was the first to go to one of Swift's shows.

In August 2023, she attended a performance at Los Angeles' SoFi Stadium during the California leg of Swift's Eras Tour.

When the singer launched into her Fearless era and told the crowd, "Let's go back to high school," Duchess Meghan jumped up out of her seat to sing along to You Belong with Me.
