NewsNovember, 24 Miranda Lambert grieves over death of 'two little nuggets'
Miranda Lambert has shared the sad news that she recently lost both her cherished horses. In an emotional Instagram post, the Grammy-winning country singer announced that her "sweet little nuggets" Sugar Pie and Adrianna had "crossed over the rainbow bridge", describing the moment as both deeply painful and profoundly emotional. Alongside touching photos of the miniature horses over the years, she posted a heartfelt tribute. "I've had 18 years with these littles and I can't tell you how much joy they brought me. The best part about being an animal mom is the joy. The worst part is when the time comes to say goodbye," she wrote. She went on to express gratitude to those who helped care for the horses while she was on the road, acknowledging the team who ensured they lived full, happy lives despite her touring schedule. "Full of gratitude for them and for everyone who helped take care of them and give them the best life when I was on the road all these years," the The House That Built Me singer added, before signing off with an emotional farewell. "Godspeed little bittys. I know you are both in greener pastures as I type this. I'll see y'all again one day." The post was met with an outpouring of sympathy from fans and fellow musicians, who flooded the comments with broken heart emojis and comforting messages.
