NewsDecember, 11 Sharon Osbourne reveals the reason she didn't "go with Ozzy" when he died
Sharon Osbourne has revealed the only reason she didn't "go with Ozzy" when he died. The television star has told how her love for her children, Aimee, 42, Kelly, 41, and Jack, 40, made her want to stay around after Ozzy died on 22 July this year. "I would have just gone with Ozzy... Oh, yeah, definitely, I've done everything I wanted to do," she told Piers Morgan on his YouTube show Uncensored. "But they've been, they've been, excuse me, unbelievably, just magnificent with me, all three of them." When Piers asked if her children and grandchildren were the reason she decided to stick around, she replied, "Years ago, when I had one of my mental breakdowns, I went into a little facility to help with my head. And I'd there were two girls over there - they didn't know each other, but they were in there, each mother had committed suicide, and I saw the state that these two young women were in and what it had done to their lives, and I thought, I will never, ever, ever do that to my kids." She continued, "Grief has now become my friend... It is very weird to me, you know, when you love someone that much and you're grieving for them, it's what I have to live with, and I'll get used to it. I will, I have to, you know, things move on." Ozzy was buried in grounds of the family estate, underneath a crabapple tree, and Sharon told how she visits his grave every day and talks to him. "Everybody goes down there and has a chat with him," she revealed. "I burn several candles in the house, that are always replaced. It's never without candles, by his pictures and just in the house," she said. "It's an ache that you wake up with, and you can't get rid of that ache. It's like a big hole inside of you, and the kids feel exactly the same way, and it's just, what do you do? It's inevitable that it happens to all of us."
