Britney Spears sparks pregnancy rumours with cryptic post

Britney Spears has made a mysterious baby announcement on Instagram.

The post has led fans to speculate that she is having a baby.

"If you're lucky, I have someone unbelievably beautiful I want to introduce you to, hopefully this year, and if not, the most beautiful things will never be seen!" she wrote.

"Come what may, oh so near but the feet I feel lived too much in fear so the soil of ground that silence suspends is where I'm found yet there begin! It's in the silence!"

The first photo featured a group of baby items, including a onesie that read 'Phoenix has arrived', a baby hat, baby shorts and a mini unicorn backpack.

Then came a photo of her son, Jayden, when he was younger.

Other photos in the post included a painting of a mother lifting up a shell to reveal her son, and praying hands.

The 44-year-old singer already has two sons, Jayden, 19, and Sean, 20, with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline.

In a now-deleted post, Spears declared this past Father's Day that she wanted to have another baby, Page Six reported at the time.

"It's an emotional day for me, guitars remind me of baby aliens, such gentle strings, music is said to be the speech of angels, I bought this one in Mexico in hopes one day I can have another baby," she captioned the post, referencing a guitar she was holding.

Spears was previously married to Sam Asghari, whom she divorced in 2024. They did not have any children together.
