Kacey Musgraves Continues Boston Show Despite Fire

Kacey Musgraves didn't let a small fire interrupt her recent concert in Boston. During her performance of Golden Hour, a pyrotechnic ring above the stage caught fire, but the singer kept her composure and even made jokes about the incident.

Addressing the audience at TD Garden on Friday, she pointed out the flames and quipped, "That looks bad. Genuinely, something's on fire," adding, "I have way too much hairspray to be standing under that s**t."

According to social media clips, she told the crowd to "pretend" nothing was wrong and continued the show. She then spoke about spending time alone while making her album, admitting it gives her anxiety, and joked, "So does that."

She light-heartedly asked if anyone had a "bedazzled fire extinguisher" before moving on to her next song. An attendee reported that the fire eventually went out on its own.

Musgraves kicked off her Middle of Nowhere tour in Chicago on 21 August and is scheduled to perform at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Monday and Tuesday.
