Miley Cyrus Teases New Album with Cryptic Post

Miley Cyrus is preparing to release a new album. On Sunday, the pop star shared a dramatic close-up photo of her eyes on social media and the same image on her official website.

She didn't add a caption, but on her website the word "MILEY" appeared in bold text, leading fans to speculate that her first name might be the album's title.

In June, the singer-songwriter confirmed she had signed with Atlantic Records after previously being with Columbia Records. In an interview with Wonderland magazine around that time, the Flowers hitmaker discussed her upcoming project.

"This one was different. It was organic and really unforced. Something that was super helpful this time was I started with the tracklist and never veered from it," she said. "I knew it would be 10 songs. I roughly knew the sound and the concept. That gave me a really strong compass without making the process feel forced."

Representatives for Miley have not yet commented on the album. She released her ninth studio album, Something Beautiful, in May 2025.

Last week, the former Hannah Montana star paid tribute to her late godmother, Dolly Parton, who died at age 80 on 25 August. "I will always love her and want to make her proud. My heart breaks for the world, her family and friends who will miss her deeply. We're in this loss together, and we will see her in all of the most beautiful things," the 33-year-old wrote on Instagram.
