Cher and Gaga's 'greatest' duet
Cher and Lady Gaga are collaborating on The Greatest Thing Ever.
The two gay icons have recorded a duet of the ballad written by Lady Gaga, and Cher has confirmed on Twitter it is to be released in September.
The song will be the first single from Cher's 26th album, to be released later this year.
Cher has also tweeted about a possible tour next year to promote the album.
The 65-year-old star met Lady Gaga when she presented her with her award for Video of the Year for Bad Romance at the MTV Video Music Awards last year.
Gaga, 25, who was wearing her famous meat dress at the time, sobbed: "I never thought I'd be asking Cher to hold my meat purse."
