1D's Louis and Harry fool fans

One Direction stars Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles made April Fools of their fans when they pretended they were having a baby.

Louis, 20, shocked fans when he Tweeted: "Can't believe I'm going to be a Dad! Wow!!"

But the revelation soon appeared to be a hoax when The X Factor's official Twitter wrote: "We can confirm that Harry Styles IS pregnant. If it's a girl he's calling it Anne. If it's a boy, Juan Direction Styles. #HarrysPregnant."

The April Fool prank follows claims from the boy band's US fans that they believe Louis and Harry are gay lovers, dubbing them Larry Stylinson.

But the boys have laughed off the rumours, and Louis soon quashed the gossip when he stepped out with his model girlfriend Eleanor Calder.

Meanwhile, 1D - who recently became the first British band to debut at No 1 in the US album chart with Up All Night - have reportedly been invited to spend Easter at the White House.

The UK X Factor contestants met the First Lady Michelle Obama at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards in Los Angeles at the weekend, and she apparently asked them to the President's annual Easter egg hunt on Easter Monday as daughters Malia, 13, and Sasha, ten, are such big fans.

Unfortunately, the lads had to turn down the invitation, The Sun reports, as they are continuing their world tour to Australia.
