Joss Stone 'plot' accused moved

One of the men accused of conspiring to rob and murder soul singer Joss Stone has been moved to a mental health unit in his native Manchester ahead of a trial in August, a court has heard.

Junior Bradshaw, 31, is accused alongside Kevin Liverpool, 34, of crimes targeting Joss, 25, whose hits include Fell In Love With A Boy, between January and June last year at her home in Devon.

Exeter Crown Court heard today that Bradshaw had been moved in March to a unit in the North West and that the results of a psychiatric test to determine his fitness to stand trial would not be known until June.

Bradshaw has yet to enter a plea to charges of conspiracy to murder, conspiracy to commit GBH and conspiracy to commit robbery. He did not attend the hearing today.

Liverpool has already pleaded not guilty to the same charges.

Bradshaw and Liverpool, both of St Stephen's Close, Manchester, were arrested on June 13 last year, close to the Devon home of Stone, a friend of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who has an estimated £9 million fortune.

The pair were arrested on the St Andrews Estate in Cullompton after being seen driving in the area around the village of Langford in a Fiat Punto, several miles from the singer's home near Ashill.

The men will stand trial on August 6.
