Rihanna cancels Norton for family

Rihanna has told fans she cancelled her trip to the UK so she could "spend time" with her family.

The Barbadian singer was due to appear on Graham Norton's show on Friday June 15 but pulled out this week.

She was scathing about reports that she was sick, telling fans on Twitter it was "Nonsense!".

Rihanna said: "I pushed my trip to London back to go spend time with my family! Sorry kiddos."

The star is also currently involved in a UK TV show for Sky Living to find a top fashion designer, the winner of which will create an outfit for her headline appearance at the Wireless Festival in London on June 24.

Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts, who has her own make-up range, will front the series where promising designers will be challenged over the course of 10 weeks to create outfits for musicians and celebrities.

Rihanna is set to produce and appear in the unnamed show.

A spokeswoman for the channel said the "series is still very much in successful production and is nearly complete".
