Rihanna has taken a leaf out of ex Chris Brown's style book - by donning a metal teeth grill.

The We Found Love star, 24, stepped out wearing the unusual accessory, as she left a restaurant in Santa Monica, California, just weeks after Chris was seen sporting the look, The Sun reported.

Her strange fashion statement comes after the former couple were spotted embracing each other at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards, when Chris congratulated Rihanna after she won the gong for Video of the Year.

Chris later denied that his new tattoo was a depiction of the singer, who he brutally assaulted in 2009.

Fans had suggested that the neck inking - which he showed off at an event in Las Vegas - looked like a battered woman.
