Jo Wood selling Stones memorabilia

Ronnie Wood's ex-wife Jo is selling off some of the contents of their former family home.

The former model, 57, whose divorce from the guitarist was finalised last year, is putting Rolling Stones memorabilia, which she collected over the years, under the hammer as part of the auction.

Items being offered for sale from the grand Surrey estate that the pair once shared include a four-poster bed and an Erard harp.

The couple split up very publicly in 2008 after rocker Ronnie, 65, left his wife of more than 20 years for 21-year-old former cocktail waitress Ekaterina Ivanova.

Jo, who is set to release an autobiography on her life as the wife of a Rolling Stone, is now selling many of the items that were left to her when their marriage ended. They include the guitarist's stage worn leather jackets and clothing and two Fender Stratocaster custom-painted guitars.

She is putting her own collection of Rolling Stones memorabilia, including books, guitar picks, vinyl record albums and backstage passes which she collected, up for sale.

The auction, set to take place next month in Los Angeles, includes portraits by the guitarist, whose paintings have been exhibited, of Keith Richards, Eric Clapton and Bob Dylan.

From their former home, a harp has been put up for auction at 4,000 dollars (£2,500) and a four-poster bed at 5,000 dollars (£3,000), along with a mahogany dining table, artwork and equestrian paintings.

A travelling case containing a double burner electric stove used to make family meals while on the road during Rolling Stones' tours is going up for sale.

A portion of the proceeds from the October 27 sale, at Julien's Auctions in Beverly Hills, will go to MusiCares, a charity which provides emergency financial assistance and addiction recovery to people in the music industry.
