Wretch 32 has designs on fashion

Wretch 32 has revealed that he's in talks to create his own fashion range.

The Lullaby rapper, whose real name is Jermaine Scott, wants to follow in the designer-clad footsteps of Liam Gallagher, Justin Timberlake, Robbie Williams and Pharrell Williams.

"I've been working on some clothing ideas with some other artists, but until it's finished and in my hand, I don't know what's happening with it. I've been speaking to designers and coming up with some interesting pieces," he said.

"I see it as a different way of expressing art. I've always been into fashion and clothes, and sometimes I see stuff in the shops that I think I can do better. I know what I would like to wear and I know what a lot of people my age would like to wear, so we'll see how it goes."

Wretch added: "I want to push the boundaries and see how experimental I can be. I wouldn't do it if I didn't think I could bring something new to the table."

The 27-year-old - who performed at the Arthur's Day celebration in London with Sir Tom Jones and VV Brown - isn't neglecting his music though, with the follow-up to Black And White almost ready.

"The second album is almost finished, but I'll keep going until I have to hand it in, which isn't anytime soon. I gave away 17 tracks for free on my mixtape Wretchercise," he explained.

"The record feels like a natural musical progression from Black And White. Lyrically, I've got better and I've got a lot more to say because of the year that I've had."
