Swift set to perform at MTV EMAs

Taylor Swift has revealed she "can't wait" to perform at the MTV European Music Awards.

The country-pop singer - who has been nominated in five categories including Best Female and Best Pop - is set to take to the stage at Frankfurt's Festhalle alongside Muse and No Doubt on November 11.

"I've always wanted to go to the EMA, because you hear about the spectacle of it, and how everyone just goes all out for their performances," she said.

"To be nominated for five EMAs was the most exciting feeling, and I was absolutely blown away. I can't wait to be there this year and perform on the show!" she added.

Muse, who are up for Best Live and Best Rock, said: "We're really looking forward to returning to perform on the MTV EMA stage. See you all in Frankfurt for a great night of music."

Gwen Stefani and her reunited No Doubt bandmates, who are battling it out with Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Rihanna and Taylor in the Best Pop category, added: "The EMA is massive. Everyone is in top form. It's going to be an amazing time and a chance for us to show to the world why we're so proud of our new album.

"And it's always awesome to do what we love most, which is play live. We're really excited to be a part of it."

German supermodel Heidi Klum will host the star-studded ceremony, which will broadcast live on November 11 at 9pm on MTV channels around the world.
