Cheryl Cole planning showbiz break?

Cheryl Cole is so exhausted by a year of constant work that she is taking a break from showbiz.

Her gruelling schedule has included releasing her sixth solo single, reuniting with her Girls Aloud bandmates for a greatest hits album and setting out on a UK arena tour with them last October.

Rushing from one project to the next left Cheryl with barely a moment to herself, so she is now looking forward to some much needed rest and relaxation, reported the Metro.

The Call My Name singer is planning on spending some time with family and friends as well as her boyfriend and backing dancer Tre Holloway.

Cheryl, 29, is said to be planning a break in LA with Tre and is expected to be away from the music scene for around six months.

She and her Girls Aloud bandmates Kimberley Walsh, Nicola Roberts, Sarah Harding and Nadine Coyle split for good following the end of their Ten tour last week.

Apparently Geordie star Cheryl has no plans to return to X Factor, where she was a mentor and judge from 2008 to 2010.

On Saturday she tweeted: "Have just woken up!! This is the first time I have slept for more than 2 hrs in 4 days and I still don't feel human lol!

"Thank you so much for all your kind words, respect and well wishes.. I'm gonna take some time now to rest and recover!! I need some doggy love, family, friends and & loved ones!

"Just wanted to say thank you i love you and ill be back soon."
