J-Lo whisked off set after gunshots

Jennifer Lopez had to be escorted off set by security after gunshots were heard during the filming of her new music video in Florida.

The Jenny From The Block singer was doing an interview with TV host Rob Marciano to promote her new song Live It Up, when shots were heard, reported TMZ.com.

The 43-year-old star was immediately taken to her car, accompanied by dancer boyfriend Casper Smart, as police checked out the scene at Fort Lauderdale.

Rob tweeted the news: "BREAKING: Gunshots fired on Fort Lauderdale Beach DURING my JLo interview. No kidding. Security scrambled her away. Can hear & see ambulances converging - 400 yards down the street."

He later wrote: "Police confirming: 'shots fired. no one hit.' Whew."

Jennifer was shooting the music video with rapper Pitbull, who features on the track.

Fort Lauderdale Police Department spokeswoman Detective DeAnna Greenlaw said: "At around 7:30pm, police received a report that shots were fired in a parking lot near the northern end of the park located at 800 Seabreeze Boulevard."

According to the Miami Herald, police added: "Officials investigated the incident but found no evidence of a shooting at the Fort Lauderdale Beach Park parking lot."

Jennifer, who was said to be "fine", was spotted getting back to work as filming resumed after the incident.
