Stooshe sing to rush-hour Londoners

Stooshe have entertained rush-hour commuters in central London with a live performance on a bus, to launch their debut album, London With The Lights On.

The girl group - Alex Buggs, Courtney Rumbold and Karis Anderson - sang songs from their long-awaited record, including top five single Black Heart and new tracks Kiss Chase and My Man Music, as they headed around Oxford Street in a traditional double-decker bus.

Over 200 fans joined in the fun as they jumped on board the bus, and shoppers at Topshop, Selfridges and Primark, along with commuters at Oxford Circus and Bond Street stations, stopped to see the spectacle, with many singing and dancing along to the girls' new single Slip.

The trio swapped their heels for desert boots, and managed to deliver their provocative, punchy wordplay, cutting-edge choruses and spot-on vocal performances despite being on a moving bus.

Their album is set to be released on May 27, after being delayed for months, and includes three new songs.

They decided to postpone the release after being unhappy with how the album sounded, saying in a statement: "Following a late rush of creativity which has seen them write some of the best songs of their career, Stooshe have decided to delay the release of their debut album until March 2013 so they have time to record these songs for inclusion on the album."
