NewsJune, 26 Joss: I'm honoured to sing for AmyJoss Stone has said she felt honoured to perform at a fundraising gig for the Amy Winehouse Foundation. The Super Duper Love singer was asked by Mitch Winehouse to sing with him and his band in the charity gig which invites a different performer each month to Leicester Square's Hippodrome. She said: "I've come to sing because Mitch asked me to and I know that it's for a good cause. Obviously, it's a great foundation that they've put together and plus the fact that it's in Amy's name. "I mean, she's like the greatest singer that we've seen for a long, long, long, long time, so it's quite an honour to be able to be part of that." The Amy Winehouse Foundation uses funds to feed homeless people, for children's hospices, offers scholarships to the Sylvia Young drama school and goes into schools to educate on the dangers of drugs and alcohol. Mitch, Amy's father, said: "Even after a short period of time that Amy hasn't been here, which is just coming up to two years, she's had an incredibly positive effect on many thousands of young people. Please God she was here, she's not unfortunately, not physically anyway. She's waving her magic wand and I can assure you she's doing incredible work."
