NewsJune, 27 Richard and Adam land record dealRichard and Adam have signed a record deal with Sony Music. The Welsh singing duo, who came third in this year's Britain's Got Talent, have signed a multi-album contract with their debut album set to be released on July 29. Tenor Richard, 22, and baritone Adam, 19, said: "We are so ecstatic to be signed with Sony Music. We absolutely love singing and want to bring classical music to all ages through our voices and debut album." Brothers Richard and Adam Johnson credited their grandmother with introducing them to classical music and even brought her out on stage during their first audition. They got a standing ovation for their performance of The Impossible Dream but were beaten in the ITV contest by shadow dance troupe Attraction. Their manager Jonathan Shalit said: "When I first saw Richard and Adam audition on BGT with their wonderful tenor and baritone voices I was beyond excited. The beauty of their harmonies is quite extraordinary and gave me flashbacks to the Righteous Brothers - who of course were not actually brothers, which Richard and Adam are."
