Lennon detention sheets to be sold

John Lennon's school detention sheets are to be sold online.

The two sheets show the late Beatles star was being punished for "fighting in class", ''shoving" and being a general nuisance.

One of the papers from Quarry Bank High School for Boys in Liverpool said Lennon showed "just no interest whatsoever" in school.

The detention sheets are to be sold online by TracksAuction.com later this month.

The company said that they date from 1955 and 1956, when Lennon was in his teens.
