The Queen of Pop will introduce members of the Russian group at Amnesty International's human rights concert in New York. Madonna said in a statement that she admires Maria Alyokhina and Nadezhda Tolokonnikova. They were recently released after nearly two years in jail following a conviction for hooliganism when they staged a protest in a Russian church. The Bringing Human Rights Home concert will take place on February 5 at the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn. Other stars taking part include Imagine Dragons, Lauryn Hill and The Flaming Lips. Madonna has been busy of late, appearing at the Grammy Awards with Macklemore And Ryan Lewis and singing with Miley Cyrus during an MTV Unplugged taping.
