More Kings Of Leon gigs cancelled

Kings Of Leon have cancelled more shows, so Nathan Followill has more time to recover.

Two more gigs have been pulled from their schedules, following the drummer's rib injury from a bus accident.

The 35-year-old musician tweeted: "I'm so bummed 2 have 2 cancel more shows but I need to be fully recovered before I get back. So sorry to the fans & thanks 4 understanding."

The band had previously postponed all their live shows until August 28, and they are still expected to perform at the Made In America festival in Philadelphia on August 30 and 31.

Nathan broke his ribs when their tour bus had to do an emergency stop after a pedestrian stepped out in front of it.

Kings Of Leon revealed they have been working on new music.

Caleb Followill told Billboard: "If you put us in a room together with our instruments it's hard for us to dwell on the past and play something we've played a million times. We would much rather create, so I think that what we have so far is really fun stuff.

"But, y'know, it depends on what time of year we make the album; if we make it in the winter time, we'll probably have some sad songs on there, too."
