Cilla song climbing up the charts

Sheridan Smith's portrayal of Cilla Black in the ITV biopic has propelled the scouse singer back towards the top 40.

The show has pulled in more than seven million viewers and Cilla's 1964 number one, Anyone Who Had A Heart, is at number 46 in the midweek charts and looks set to climb further according to sales figures from the Official Charts Company.

The track, performed by Sheridan in the show, was written by legendary songwriting duo Bacharach and David and was originally a hit for Dionne Warwick.
