NewsNovember, 13 Atomic Kitten to release new albumKerry Katona has revealed that Atomic Kitten are making a new album to be released next year. The singer told The Sun that the original reunited group, which also includes Natasha Hamilton and Liz McClarnon, would be touring the world with the new album, too. She said: "Atomic Kitten are doing a new album. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say, but we are. "There'll be a tour all over the world with just the Kittens, and the album should be out next year. Atomic Kitten were big everywhere - after I left the band! "But songs like The Tide Is High didn't have my voice on." Kerry, who has admitted several times that she's not a great singer, added: "The new music will be the original signature sound, which is cheesy pop. That's what people loved. We can't try and go funky when we're competing with the likes of Rihanna and Beyonce." The original line-up only recorded one album together, Right Now, which was a flop but went on to be a number one hit when Kerry left after their first chart topper, Whole Again, and was replaced by Jenny Frost who re-recorded the album with Liz and Natasha. Atomic Kitten got back together for ITV2 show The Big Reunion, but Jenny didn't take part as she was pregnant and the group are planning on recording their old hits with Kerry's vocals instead of Jenny's.
