Rihanna gets dangerous, swims with sharks for Harper's Bazaar shoot

When it comes to photoshoots there is little FourFiveSeconds hitmaker Rihanna won't do. She's previously posed with snakes and bared her naked body to the world, but it seems that was all just child's play compared to the star's latest shoot, which sees her swimming with sharks. Standard really.

The stunning images shot for Harper's Bazaar magazine show the Barbadian beauty, who is rumoured to be dating Hollywood royalty Leonardo DiCaprio, flaunting her svelte figure in a white bathing suit as she swims under water with an enormous shark swimming just a matter of feet away.

The photos were captured by photographer and certified diving expert Norman Jean Roy, and while the prospect of having to swim just feet away from a real life shark -- this isn't no Photoshop job -- would scare most off, it seems adrenaline junkie RiRi was more than excited to get involved.

Posting a series of photos from the sexy shoot on Instagram and Twitter, the star shared the dangerous-looking picture with her fans, writing, "Then this happened .... #bucketlists**t Thank you @harpersbazaarus for such a thrilling shoot!!" The 25-year-old's shoot also sees her model in a custom-made gold jumpsuit by Olivier Rousteing (Balmain) for the magazine's March 2015 edition.

The cover shot sees Rih's hair blowing in the wind as she looks into the camera. "@harpersbazaarus getting you ready for summer with our March #COVER," the star tweeted. The publication have also released a behind-the-scenes video which shows the star gearing herself up before taking the plunge and swimming amid the dangerous creatures.

We wonder what Rihanna's rumoured beau DiCaprio thought of the shoot given that he almost suffered a shark attack after being trapped in a diving cage. "I had a huge fear of sharks, and when I did Blood Diamond in 2006 I actually got stuck in a cage with a great white, which was awesome," he told chat show host Ellen Degeneres in January 2014. "I was a gigantic great white... They actually said in 30 years this has never happened, but the tuna kind of got stuck on the top of the cage and the great white leapt out and tried to bite it and went into the cage with me.

"Half of its body was in and out, and I flattened down at the bottom, and it was this far away, and it chomped a few times but I survived it," he added.
