Tove Lo added to Golden Globes nominees for co-writing Love Me Like You Do

Swedish musician Tove Lo has scored a late nomination for the Golden Globes' Best Original Song category after she was recognised as a co-writer on Ellie Goulding's Love Me Like You Do.

The tune, from the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack, was shortlisted when the nominations were announced earlier this month (Dec15), but only Max Martin, Savan Kotecha, Ilya Salmanzadeh and Ali Payami were credited for penning the hit, even though the singer/songwriter had earned a Grammy nod for her part in its creation just three days earlier.

Now bosses behind the Globes tell The Associated Press Lo's name has been added to the entry for the Best Original Song honour.

Love Me Like You Do will compete against Sam Smith's James Bond theme Writing's on the Wall, Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth's See You Again from Furious 7, Simple Song #3 from Youth, and One Kind of Love from Beach Boys movie Love & Mercy.

The winners of the 2016 Golden Globe Awards will be unveiled during a Hollywood ceremony on 10 January (16).
