Blake Shelton’s ‘seals Gwen Stefani romance with promise ring’

Blake Shelton has reportedly shown his feelings for Gwen Stefani by gifting her a promise ring.

The No Doubt frontwoman, 46, has been spotted out with what appears to be an engagement ring, but friends say that’s not quite true. However they add the pair has spoken about marriage and it is definitely on the cards for the two singers.

“Blake surprised Gwen with it,” an insider told America’s Star magazine about the piece of jewellery. “It’s more of a promise ring. They want to get married and have been looking at engagement rings, but he just wanted to get her something special sooner to show his feelings. It’s a matter of time before she’s sporting a big rock on that finger. They’re so in love.”

Reports surfaced recently that Gwen’s ex-husband Gavin Rossdale had called a meeting to discuss 39-year-old Blake’s role in his son’s lives. The former couple share children Kingston, 10, Zuma seven and two-year-old Apollo.

Earlier this month (May16) Gwen and Gavin, 50, were snapped at one of Kingston’s basketball games in Los Angeles, with onlookers saying it appeared the blonde singer looked uncomfortable in her ex’s company.

“They need to co-parent, but Gwen is still furious over how things ended. She isn’t the type who can play nice, but hopefully for the sake of the kids, she’ll eventually be cordial,” the source said.

Gwen called time on her marriage after nearly 13 years in August 2015, following allegations Gavin had cheated with the family’s nanny.
