Gwen Stefani watches with pride at sons' First Communion

Pop star Gwen Stefani gushed with pride at church on Saturday (29Apr17) as her two eldest sons attended their First Communion.

The Hollaback Girl hitmaker documented 10-year-old Kingston and eight-year-old Zuma's big day on Snapchat in a series of video clips and photos, showing her boys all dressed up in matching black suits.

They were joined by Gwen's niece, Stella, who was also experiencing her rite of passage in the Catholic Church as the singer's brother Todd and his wife Jennifer looked on.

Among the posts shared with fans was a picture of her sibling's family, and a post-ceremony celebration for the kids, where a banner read: "God Bless Kingston, Zuma, & Stella".

The star also turned the camera on herself for one brief moment, during which Gwen, who wore a white blouse with a floral pencil skirt, smiled, "I'm really happy right now!"

The family outing took place four days after the mother-of-three reportedly suffered a ruptured eardrum on a flight on Tuesday (25Apr17), prompting her to seek medical attention at Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

She then pulled out of a performance at a Las Vegas charity event on Thursday (27Apr17) after doctors advised her not to travel, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. She was replaced at the Power of Love event by Jennifer Hudson.

Gwen has still yet to comment on the alleged injury, and she showed no signs of illness as she attended the church service on Saturday.

The singer is also mother to three-year-old son Apollo, her third child with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale. The British rocker was not in attendance for Kingston and Zuma's first Holy Communion.

The former couple split in 2015 and finalised its divorce last year (16).
