Johnny Depp blows kisses to screaming fans as he arrives to cheers for Jeff Beck gig in York

Johnny Depp blew kisses and waved at fans as he stepped off the coach at the York Barbican on Tuesday night to cheers and fans screaming his name.

The world famous actor will perform alongside Jeff Beck at his York gig on Tuesday just days after winning his multimillion US lawsuit against former wife Amber Heard. Depp has already shown up on stage alongside Beck in Sheffield and Newcastle and reportedly splashed out £50,000 on a curry in Birmingham.

And he was met with screams and applause as he stepped off the coach at the Barbican in York earlier today. Before heading inside, Depp turned to his adoring fans, blew a kiss in their direction and offered a cheery wave.

The 58-year-old actor will go on to perform in Gateshead, Glasgow, Manchester and Birmingham after taking to the stage in York tonight.

The actor originally wanted to be a musician and for years has played electric guitar in Alice Cooper's side project band The Hollywood Vampires.

He worked with music collaborator Jeff Beck during lockdown on a cover of Heroes which ended up re-entering the charts during his high profile defamation case.
