Jamie Miller eyes second week at Number 1

Jamie Miller is on course to spend a second straight week at Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart with Babydoll. The Welsh singer-songwriter recently became the first Welsh solo artist to reach the top since 2011, and the early midweek update shows the single still out in front.

The Official Chart: First Look suggests little change at the sharp end. Tate McRae stays at Number 2 with Housewife, while Olivia Rodrigo and Chappell Roan hold at Number 3 with their collaboration Expectations. Ashe’s Stop The Wedding and Sienna Spiro’s Great Expectation complete an unchanged top five at Numbers 4 and 5.

Inside the Top 10, Ella Langley’s Choosin' Texas remains at Number 6, and Adela’s Nicole Kidman moves up one place to Number 7. The duet Lies from Zach Bryan and Lana Del Rey slips to Number 8, Sam Fender and Olivia Dean’s Rein Me In enters the Top 10 at Number 9, and Olivia Rodrigo closes the top ten with The Cure.

Seasonal favourites and award show performances are also making an impact further down. P!nk and Nate Ruess’s 2013 hit Just Give Me A Reason is heading for Number 16, and Michael Jackson’s Thriller is set to re-enter the Top 20 at Number 19 in the run-up to Halloween.

After winning the Mercury Prize for THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE., RAYE’s WHERE IS MY HUSBAND! is forecast to climb 20 places to Number 31. JADE’s Angel Of My Dreams could return to the Top 40 at Number 35 after her performance at the ceremony, while Fontaines D.C. are in line for a new entry with Mimesis at Number 33.
