Dua Lipa addresses painful on-stage accidents

Dua Lipa has reflected on the painful accidents she suffered live on-stage during her 2022 tour.

The accident-prone Houdini singer, 28, made headlines when she hit the deck while performing during her Future Nostalgia Tour in 2022.

Now the star, who has also been known to drop her microphone in the middle of performances, has offered a reason for her painful and embarrassing on-stage blunders.

Speaking on Siriux XM, the Brit Award winning star said, "I've fallen over quite a few times. I fell over on my tour once in Barcelona, once in Milan on the same spot, it was just the hottest week in Europe. Some of my dancers were sweating a little bit extra."

She went on to say that she has now taken steps to avoid future slip-ups, She explained, "I slipped on a little sweat puddle and we kind of had to change the choreography so I don't get a puddle of sweat where I'm about to start dancing."

Dua released her third album, titled Radical Optimism, earlier this month and will go on tour next month in support of the record.

The Radical Optimism Tour will kick off in Berlin, Germany, on 5 June and will see her perform dates across Europe, the USA and the UK until mid-October.

Dua is also one of the hundreds of performers taking part in the 2024 Glastonbury festival which will run from Wednesday 26 Jun until Sunday 30 June in Somerset, UK.
