NewsApril, 1 Meghan Trainor credits exercise and weight-loss drug for body transformation![]() Meghan Trainor is "feeling great" after embarking on a dedicated health and wellbeing journey. After receiving the Hitmaker award at the 2025 Billboard Women in Music over the weekend, the All About That Bass singer took to Instagram on Monday night to address speculation about her recent body transformation. Alongside photos of herself posing on the red carpet at the event, Meghan admitted that it has been a "little disheartening" to be the target of so many questions about her weight. "Feeling so honored to be recognized by @billboard Women in Music as a Hitmaker - what a dream!" she began. "But it's a little disheartening that so many of the questions (and comments) were focused on my body instead of my music, my passion, or the decade of hard work that got me here. This is what it's like to be a woman in the music industry." Meghan went on to confirm that she has taken Tirzepatide, a medication used to treat type 2 diabetes and aid weight loss, which is sold under the brand name Mounjaro. However, the Made You Look star insisted that she has also overhauled her diet and exercise routine. "No, I don't look like I did 10 years ago. I've been on a journey to be the healthiest, strongest version of myself for my kids and for me. I've worked with a dietician, made huge lifestyle changes, started exercising with a trainer, and yes, I used science and support (shoutout to Mounjaro!) to help me after my 2nd pregnancy," the 31-year-old continued. "And I'm so glad I did because I feel great. Here's to celebrating talent, growth, and the power of putting yourself first. Let's keep shifting the convo to what REALLY matters." Meghan shares sons Riley, four, and Barry, 21 months, with husband Daryl Sabara. And after posting the candid message, Meghan received supportive comments from a number of celebrity fans. "You are EVERYTHING sis and inspire me so much," praised Nicole Scherzinger, while Padma Lakshmi added: "Congratulations. At our house, you reign supreme!!"
