Naomi Campbell has praised Miley Cyrus for her dedication to her fans following backlash over her behaviour at a signing event.

The supermodel showed her support for the singer after she was accused of being rude to fans at a vinyl signing event in London over the weekend.

Naomi attended the event to celebrate the release of Miley's recently released single, Every Girl You've Ever Loved, which features spoken verses from the model.

However, shortly afterwards, fans took to social media to claim that the stars were "rude" and only interested in each other.

In a new Instagram post, Naomi seemingly responded to the criticism, praising the Flowers hitmaker for her "graciousness" towards fans.

"@mileycyrus what a fun... signing. Thank you for having me by your side to celebrate the Every Girl You've Ever Loved vinyl release in London," she wrote, sharing a series of photos and clips from the event. "What a joy to spend the night with you in my hometown - your energy is infectious, your memory and graciousness is unreal with our fans, you had me laughing all night."

The runway star concluded the caption by thanking fans for joining them at the event.

"To everyone who came out to the signing: thank you," the 55-year-old penned. "We felt your love and adored meeting you. If you couldn't make it, the vinyl is available now - SHOW US YOUR POSES THIS SUMMER!"

Miley, 32, also took to Instagram after the signing to express her gratitude to Naomi.

"@naomi thank you for celebrating the Every Girl You've Ever Loved vinyl release day with me," she wrote alongside a photo of her and the model. "Laughing with you is my favorite. I'll miss you until we reunite. Love you forever."

The former Disney star also thanked her fans for their support, writing, "Thank you to everyone who showed up to the signing, we adored meeting you."

Every Girl You've Ever Loved appears on Miley's new album Something Beautiful. Naomi also stars in the single's music video.
