Lily Allen is ready to start dating again

Lily Allen has revealed she's ready to start dating again following her split from David Harbour.

Following her separation from the Stranger Things actor after four years of marriage, the singer has turned to dating apps to find a new love interest.

When asked by Interview Magazine if she's already seeing someone, Allen teased, "Maybe."

While the 40-year-old star is keen to meet the right person, she admitted online dating can be difficult at times.

"They're awful, especially if you're going through heartbreak," Allen admitted as she discussed dating apps. "'There is nothing more depressing than hundreds of people that are nothing like the person that you're missing. It's just like, 'No, that's not him. That's not him. That's not him'."

As the Smile singer continued to open up about her romantic life, she also ruled out dating another celebrity.

She explained, "I'm not really looking to go out with another famous person. Also, when I go on dates with other people, there's a bit of a barrier in terms of - not so much here, but in England it's a bit of a novelty to be on a date with me."

Allen is currently promoting her new album, West End Girl, which she wrote in just 10 days last December.

Allen sings about infidelity and a doomed relationship on the record, but has denied that the album was her way to get "revenge" against Harbour.

"I feel very differently about the whole situation now. We all go through break-ups, and it's always f**king brutal," she explained. "At the time, I was really trying to process things, and that's great in terms of the album, but I don't feel confused or angry now. I don't need revenge."
