Taylor Swift has no desire to tour again soon after record-breaking Eras trek

Taylor Swift has admitted that she has no desire to tour again anytime soon after her recent record-breaking trek.

In December 2024, the 35-year-old music megastar concluded her mammoth 21-month-long Eras Tour, which spanned 149 shows across 51 cities worldwide and included a 44-song setlist.

During an interview with Greg James on BBC Radio 1, Taylor admitted she "think(s) about it every day" because she had "so much fun" on the tour, even though it was "the most exhausting challenge ever".

When Greg asked if she had "the itch" to tour again following the release of her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, the Bad Blood hitmaker confessed that the thought of touring again made her feel tired.

"No. I'm gonna be really honest with you. I am so tired, like when I think about doing it again. Because I would want to do it really well again, you know?" she replied.

In a separate interview with Hits Radio, the pop star shared that she had to set goals for herself to ensure that all the shows went ahead, saying, "So you're like, don't get sick, don't let any outside noise into your head, focus on only this one thing."

Throughout her career, Taylor has completed six headline tours, but broke records with The Eras Tour, which made history by becoming the first trek ever to surpass $1 billion (£786 million) in ticket sales.

The Shake It Off singer wrote her new album during the European leg of the tour, flying to Sweden to make music with Max Martin and Shellback on her days off.

The Life of a Showgirl was released on Friday.
