Lily Allen to perform explosive break-up album in full on U.K. theatre tour

Lily Allen is set to perform her explosive break-up album West End Girl in full on an intimate U.K. tour next year.

The Smile hitmaker set tongues wagging when she released the record on Friday, thanks to her brutally honest lyrics about the breakdown of her four-year marriage to Stranger Things actor David Harbour.

On Thursday, Lily revealed that she would be performing the much-talked-about album in order and in its entirety in March 2026.

Over the 13-date tour, the star will take to the stage at "specially-chosen" intimate theatres across the U.K., including stops in Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle and Cardiff, among others. The run will culminate in two shows at the London Palladium.

Lily last toured between 2018 and 2019, in support of her fourth studio album No Shame. However, she has performed live occasionally, making surprise appearances with Olivia Rodrigo and Shy FX at Glastonbury in 2022 and 2025, respectively.

Earlier this week, the star told Interview Magazine that she wanted the album to feel "a movie from start to finish".

"Each song can stand alone and make total sense, but together it's more like a novel. I've always wanted to do that, and it just happened that way on this record," she explained. "There were markers that I wanted to hit to give it a beginning, middle, and end."

The British singer wrote all 14 tracks within 10 days in December 2024 to process the end of her marriage. In some of the more shocking tracks, Lily appears to allege that they had an open relationship and he was a "sex addict".

However, the 40-year-old has stressed in interviews that her lyrics "could be considered autofiction" - a blend of autobiography and fiction - and some songs were written "in character", so they should not be taken as the gospel truth.

David has yet to publicly comment on Lily's album.

Tickets for the tour will go on general sale on 7 November.
