John Legend celebrates 'beautiful queen' Chrissy Teigen's 40th birthday

John Legend has shared a sweet message in honour of his wife Chrissy Teigen's 40th birthday.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, the All of Me hitmaker uploaded a slideshow of snaps depicting the couple at home with their children as well as at red carpet events.

In the accompanying caption, John wished Chrissy a wonderful day.

"Our brave, beautiful queen is 40 today," he wrote. "We love you to infinity and beyond, Chrissy. Thank you for being such a wonderful wife and mother. You are the heart of our family, the love of my life."

John didn't divulge whether Chrissy had a party to celebrate turning the milestone age.

However, he did post an adorable video of the pair's eldest daughter, Luna, presenting her mother with a "courage award" made of paper.

"This is because you always stand up for what's right even when it's hard. You stand up for women, you help people in need, and you fight for a better world," the nine-year-old told her mum.

John and Chrissy, who wed in 2013, are also parents to Miles, seven, and Esti and Wren, both two.

Accordingly, the Cravings entrepreneur was inundated with birthday messages from her celebrity friends.
